What Nori collects

Nothing. Nori has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, no advertising identifier, and no account system — there is no server for your data to go to, because Nori doesn’t operate one. The App Store privacy label reflects this accurately: “Data Not Collected.”

What stays on your device

• Playlist URLs, Xtream Codes credentials, and any local playlist files you add
• Favourites, watch history, and playback progress, kept per profile
• A PIN, if you set one — Nori stores a salted hash, never the PIN itself

Xtream credentials live in the iOS Keychain specifically, not in Nori’s database or in any log line — so they’re protected by the same system that protects your other passwords on the device.

Network requests Nori makes

Nori talks only to the server addresses you type in yourself — your M3U URL, your Xtream Codes host, an EPG URL. It makes no request to any Anthropic, Apple, or third-party backend, and has no built-in directory or catalogue of its own to query.

Third-party code

Nori is built on a small number of open-source libraries (VLCKit, GRDB, Kingfisher) for playback, storage, and image loading. None of them phone home on Nori’s behalf. Full license attribution is in the app under Settings → About.

Subscriptions

Nori Premium is handled entirely by StoreKit and your Apple ID. Nori never sees your payment details, and doesn’t transmit purchase information anywhere itself.
